"Overjoyed for the players. I think over the last few games, we've had some really good performances, but the results haven't gone our way. I think there was a really nice balance going into this game of completive hunger and confidence and belief. To be able to walk into here against your big rival, on this stage in front of 11,000 fans and win the Army-Navy Cup, is really special."

Army head coach Brian Plotkin

Entering the second half, Army returned to the strong play it had in the opening 30 minutes of the game. The Black Knights doubled its lead on an impressive goal by Riley Cullum in the 58th minute after the junior danced around a pair of Midshipman and fired a right-footed shot that snuck inside the right post.
