ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy track and field teams swept the 2025 Army-Navy Outdoor Star Meet, which is part of the overall Army-Navy Star Series presented by USAA, Saturday at Ingram Field in Annapolis.

The men's team posted a 104-99 victory and the women's team claimed a 107-96 win.

It was the 13th-consecutive outdoor victory over the Black Knights for the men's team and the 10th-straight outdoor win for the women's team.

The Mids have now won 24-straight indoor / outdoor Star Meets over Army.

"Winning 24-consecutive Star Meets is impressive considering how close the meets are designed to be. This streak is a representation of all the hard work these players, staff and support staff behind the scenes puts in year-round," stated Director of Track and Field Jamie Cook.

The women's team won 12 of the 19 events and scored the maximum points in six to post a 107-96 victory.

Senior Annie Lemelin left it all out on the track in her final Army-Navy competition as she competed in five events. She won the 100m, 400m hurdles and was a member of the 4x100m relay team.

Lemelin also finished in second place in the 100m hurdles and was a part of the 4x400m relay team.

Lemelin opened her day as the second leg in the 4x100m relay that clocked a 46.20 to win the event. She then ran a career-best 11.89 in the 100m sprint before winning her second-straight 400m hurdles event in 1:02.43.

"That goes down as one of the best single day performances I have ever seen. To compete in five events in the time frame she needed, is really impressive and says a lot about the way she competes to take on those responsibilities. It was an awesome performance," said Cook.

Renny Murphy won the javelin for the third time this spring as she set a school record (52.95m / 173' 8") on her first throw of the day.

Junior Sophie Compton had a career day as she posted a pair of program top-10 times. Compton finished in third place in the 1,500m with the third-best time in Navy history 4:23.52. The San Diego, Calif., native followed up her performance by running the second-fastest 5,000m time in program history of 16:25.94 to secure the team's victory.

The running events opened with impressive performances from Olivia Lutkevich and Mia-Claire Kezal in the 3,000m steeplechase. Lutkevich clocked the fourth-fastest time in school history at 10:18.95 to win the event, while Kezal ran the eighth-best time in 10:24.91 to finish in fourth place.

Jia Anderson won the 100m hurdles (14.01) against Army for the third-consecutive year in a photo finish as she narrowly bested Lemelin (14.02).

The Mids swept the event when Bennett Pidro (14.56) edged out Zoe Eggleston (14.60). Anderson also won the 200m race in a time of 24.97. She was followed by Sophie Richter in second place who earned maximum points for the Midshipmen with a time of 25.01.

Navy also secured max points in the 400m that was led by team captain Kylie Bedard's career-best time of 54.95. It was her first individual victory in an Army-Navy Star Meet. Taylor Woodworth pushed through the final 100 meters to finish in second place with a time of 55.69 to earn a crucial three points to tie the meet at 59 apiece.

The Midshipmen won the 4x100m relay for the second-straight year over the Black Knights. The quartet of Isabella Romasko, Lemelin, Woodworth and Anderson clocked in at 46.20.
