Army-Navy Broadcast Earns 3 Sports Emmys

CBS Sports won the most Sports Emmy Awards of any one network, three of which were for its broadcast of the 118th Army-Navy Game.  

The awards were announced at the 39th Annual Sports Emmy Awards at Lincoln Center's Rose Hall in New York City. 

Highlighting CBS Sports' eight Emmy Awards was its coverage of the 118th Army-Navy game which was recognized for Outstanding Live Sports Special. 

The Network's coverage of the 118th Army-Navy game also garnered Emmy Awards for Outstanding Music Direction and Outstanding Post-Produced Audio/Sound for the video which introduced the game, "The More Things Change". 



CBS Sports won four Emmy Awards for the opening tease of the AFC Championship Game, "Teasing John Malkovich," including Outstanding Open/Tease, Outstanding Short Form Editing, The Dick Schaap Outstanding Writing Award, and Outstanding Studio or Production Design/Art Direction. In addition to these awards, CBS also won an award for Outstanding Playoff Coverage for the AFC Championship Game.
