The annual Army-Navy men's basketball Star Game will be played on Saturday at 1:30 PM at Army's Christl Arena. Navy enters Saturday's game at 16-10 overall and in sole possession of fourth place in the Patriot League at 7-6. Army West Point is 13-11 overall and sits in a three-way tie for fifth place at 6-7. The men's game will follow the Army-Navy women's game, which begins at 11:00 AM.

Saturday's Army-Navy men's basketball game is a part of the overall 2017-18 Army-Navy Star Series presented by USAA. The two men's basketball teams play for the Alumni Trophy.
The Black Knights will look to defend their title after bringing the Alumni Trophy back to West Point last season following a three-year hiatus.
In the teams' first meeting of the year on Jan. 14, the Cadets jumped out to a big lead early and held a game-high 33-18 edge with 1:18 remaining in the opening half. The Midshipmen wouldn't go away though, closing the gap over the second 20 minutes to pull within 64-62 with two seconds left. The Black Knights were able to hold on to the lead to secure the two-point victory.

Saturday's game will be televised live on CBS Sports Network with Bob Socci and Mo Cassara serving as the broadcast team. The game will also be shown on the American Forces Network on a tape delay. The game will air on the AFN sports channel at 2:30 PM (Afghanistan Time) on Sunday, Feb. 11. Live internet video will not be available due to the national television broadcast.

The Mids hold a slim 6-4 edge over the last 10 meetings. Eight of those 10 were decided by single digits with five of them being determined by five or less points. There have also been two overtime games during that stretch.
