Army Stays Alive in Star Series with win in Women's Tennis

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army West Point women's tennis team clinched the Star in the annual Army-Navy Star Match Saturday afternoon by a score of 5-2. The Black Knights stayed alive in the 2016-17 Star Series presented by USAA which the Midshipmen lead 11-9.

The next opportunity to gain Stars will be next Saturday when men's lacrosse is hosted in Annapolis and men's tennis at West Point. Navy needs one more Star to to clinch this year's series.
