ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The 2016 Army-Navy Star Series presented by USAA kicks off Friday as the Navy women's soccer team hosts Army at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
The contest marks the first of 23 sporting events between the two academies that will count towards the Star Series. The Army-Navy Star Series presented by USAA is an annual competition between the two service academies throughout each season. The series dates back to 2005-06 and both academies must field a varsity team in order for the contest to count towards the overall record.
